ZOSTREX™ CREAM should be applied topically as early as possible and repeatedly until the Shingles rash is completely gone. ZOSTREX™ CREAM is safe, effective and stops the virus from spreading while drying blisters, naturally, within 48 hours or less. (Avoid contact with eyes. If in eyes, flush thoroughly with water.) The active ingredient, a modified free amino acid known as l-glutamate, has been certified by the FDA (US Food and Drug Administration) as GRAS (generally recognized as safe) even for ingestion. The l-glutamate amino acid in ZOSTREX™ CREAM has been further beneficiated, allowing it to be readily absorbed through the skin. The proprietary formula is patent pending.
Zostrex™ Cream's active ingredient, is a modified free amino acid derived from corn (amino acid is the building block of all proteins). When applied topically it is absorbed through the skin, and works by attaching to, isolating and inhibiting the virus' tegument protein from replicating. The glycoprotein spikes surrounding the virus are no longer able to disguise it from the body's antibodies while it spreads and infects surrounding tissue.
Using Zostrex™ Cream, isolates and starves the virus which the body's white blood cells are then able to identify and self-immunize against, naturally, within 48 hours or less.
WHAT IS SHINGLES
Shingles is an adult form of reactivated chicken pox which is contagious, extremely painful and may cause permanent nerve damage (post herpetic neuralgia), including blindness. It can be triggered by personal contact, stress, a weakened immune system, virus mutation or even the Shingles vaccine itself.
STAGES of SHINGLES
The first stage is the Prodromal Stage. During this stage the actual rash hasn't yet appeared. Since Shingles affects your nerves, you will usually experience a tingling, tickling burning or pain sensation in an area(s) of the body.
The second stage is the Eruptive/Active Stage and is most contagious during this period, especially to people with weakened immune systems. This is where the rash and blisters begin to appear in an area(s). The most typical areas for this to occur are on your torso, neck or face. At first, the fluid in the blisters is clear but soon becomes cloudy and pus-like. The pain intensifies and feels like a stabbing sensation, even making wearing clothing painful. The blisters begin to ooze, eventually crusting over. The rash usually lasts from 4-5 weeks or longer.
The third stage is the Post-Herpetic Neuralgia Stage. At this point, the symptoms include extreme sensitivity to touch, continual severe aching along with a burning sensation and persistent pain. This lasts from weeks to months or even years. Some of the other neurological problems and auto-immune diseases which have been linked to Shingles and the vaccines are Encephalitis, Paralysis, Cardiomyopathy, Pneumonia, Skin Infections, Bacterial Super-infection, Vision or Hearing Loss, Lupus, Traverse Myelitis, Bell's Palsy and Facial Paralysis, Optic Neuritis, Vasculitis, and Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating, Polyneuropathy (CIPD) among others.
